Expressive Arts Therapy

The field of Expressive Arts Therapy encompasses a variety of modalities including: art therapy, drama therapy, music therapy, dance and movement therapy, psychodrama and sandplay therapy.

I use these various expressive arts therapies to help you explore your issues in a creative and effective way and make it easier to convey feelings or experiences that may be difficult to express in words.

Rather than interpreting the art created, I consider you to be the authority on your own experience. Therefore, my role as an expressive arts therapist is to guide you in exploring your artwork so that you may deepen your understanding of the images, see how they apply to your current situation, and make the changes you want in your life.
