I am a Registered Clinical Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a specialization in expressive arts therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Organizational Behavior and Marketing from Simon Fraser University, and have extensive training in coaching and personal development from Brian Tracy International. I am also a professional member of the British Columbia Art Therapy Association.

My interest in psychology and personal growth drew me to the internationally renowned Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, where I studied Gestalt therapy, couples therapy, movement therapy and art. I then trained in Council-based communication at the Ojai Foundation in Southern California.

My dedication to helping couples create more passionate and satisfying relationships has led me to a year-long training at the Couple’s Institute in Menlo Park, California, and an externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy at the Vancouver Couple and Family Institute.

I have helped many individuals and couples work through issues of: disordered eating, stress, anxiety, depression, meaninglessness and abuse, and have co-facilitated and assisted groups on family of origin issues and personal growth at the Esalen Institute and drama therapy and expressive arts therapy groups at the Living Arts Counseling Center in Oakland, CA.
